Reformer Level One: Foundational Practical Application and Teaching Theory (75+ Hours)

Ready to build a strong, confident foundation in Reformer Pilates teaching? This Level One training is designed for those looking to step into teaching — or deepen their understanding of the reformer with clarity, precision, and purpose.

Over this immersive 5-day intensive, you’ll explore the fundamental exercises, principles, and mechanics of the reformer. Grounded in core Pilates concepts — including breath, control, alignment, and stability — this training focuses on how to translate movement into effective, real-world teaching.

Through a blend of hands-on practice, teaching drills, and real-time feedback, you’ll learn how to see bodies, cue clearly, and guide safe, intelligent movement. You’ll also develop the skills to design well-structured, progressive classes that support a wide range of students and abilities.

This training places a strong emphasis on building your voice as a teacher. You’ll leave with the confidence, tools, and foundational knowledge to lead classes that are clear, engaging, and impactful — and to continue growing into more advanced and specialized training.

Led by Melissa Quigley, this 75+ hour certification includes in-person training as well as pre- and post-course work to support integration and continued development.
